MR.DIY

MR.DIY (MR DIY Group (M) Berhad) is a Malaysia-based home improvement retailer.[1] The first store was opened in Jalan Tuanka Adbul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in July 2005.[2] Since then, MR.DIY expanded both at home and internationally and now is the largest home-improvement retailer in Southeast Asia.[3]

MR.DIY operates 670 stores in Malaysia. It operates over 600 stores in Thailand, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines[4] and India.[5][6] MR.DIY generated a revenue of 740,234,000 Malaysian Ringgits in Q3 2020.[7]

Creador, a private equity firm, was one of the early investors in MR.DIY.[8] MR.DIY was publicly listed on the Bursa Malaysia (MYX) in October 2020.[9] It was biggest IPO of Bursa Malaysia in 2020.[10]

MR.TOY is a toy store chain operated by MR.DIY in Malaysia. MR.DOLLAR is a subsidiary of MR.DIY inspired by the dollar-store concept.[11][12]
