Background
Jarvis is a medical examiner and special agent with the FBI's International Response Team (IRT). Young and spunky, Mae has a loving sibling-like relationship with Matthew Simmons and was in the FBI purely as a medical examiner, and in the first episode Clara Seger saw Jarvis out of scrubs for the first time.[1] Jarvis was brought onto the IRT as a resident medical examiner to bypass the bureaucratic red tape in various countries.[2]
Personal life
Jarvis was briefly engaged to a man but later called off the wedding due to her devotion to her job with the IRT.
