Synopsis

Mama K's Team 4 follows the story of "four superhero teenage girls, living in an alternate futuristic setting of Lusaka, Zambia. They are later recruited by a retired secret agent, to help save the world".[1]

Development

On April 16, 2019, it was announced that Netflix had given the production a series order for a first season.[2][3] The series is created by Malenga Mulendema who is credited as an executive producer and writer.[4][5] Production companies involved with the series were slated to consist of Triggerfish Animation Studios and CAKE.[2]
