Mankivka Raion

Mankivka Raion (Ukrainian: Маньківський район) was a raion (district) of Cherkasy Oblast, central Ukraine. Its administrative centre was located at the urban-type settlement of Mankivka. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Cherkasy Oblast to four. The area of Mankivka Raion was merged into Uman Raion.[1][2] The last estimate of the raion population was 26,211(2020 est.)[3]

At the time of disestablishment, the raion consisted of three amalgamated hromadas:[4]

  • Buky urban hromada with the administration in the selo of Buky;
  • Ivanky rural hromada with the administration in the selo of Ivanky;
  • Mankivka urban hromada with the administration in Mankivka.
