Manuela Giugliano

Manuela Giugliano (born 18 August 1997) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Roma in Italy's Serie A and the Italy women's national football team.

Club career

Giugliano played for ACFD Pordenone before joining ASD Torres Calcio in 2014.[1] The following year she signed for ASD Mozzanica.

On 22 September 2016, she signed for AGSM Verona.[2] She joined ACF Brescia in 2017 before moving to Milan the next season.

On 16 July 2019, Giugliano joined Roma.[3]

International career

Giugliano was called up to be part of the Italy U17 for the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, where she played six games and scored three goals.[4] She was called up to be part of the U17 national team for the 2014 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship.[1] She made her senior debut in a 2–1 win against Ukraine on 25 October 2014.[5] She scored her first international goal in a 6–1 win against Georgia on 18 September 2015, scoring in the 23rd minute.[6]

She was included by manager Antonio Cabrini in Italy's squad for the UEFA Women's Euro 2017.[7]
