Mariko Sugawara

Mariko Sugawara (born April 1955) is a Japanese former long track speed skater, who was active in the 1970s.[1]

Sugawara represented twice her nation at the World Allround Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1974, finishing 13th overall and in 1975, finishing 28th overall. She also participated at the World Sprint Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1974, finishing 17th overall.[2][3][4] She also competed at other international competitions in Germany and Switzerland.[4] She rode her last race in 1975.[4]
