Mariya Ivanova

Mariya Ivanova also written as Marija Ivanova (Мария Иванова; born September 1989) is a Kazakhstani former long track speed skater, who was active between 2002 and 2016.[1]

Ivanova represented her nation at international competitions. As a junior she set a junior national record in the 500m classification and participated at the 2005 and 2006 World Junior Speed Skating Championships. At elite level she had a total of 11 starts at national championships between 2004 and 2009. She became two times national champion, including at the 2007 Kazakhstani Single Distance Championships in the 500 metres event. Furthermore, she won one silver medal and two bronze medals at national championships.[2] She competed at the 2007 Asian Winter Games in the 500 metres event (finishing 12th), 1000 metres event (finishing 16th) and 1500 metres event (finishing 16th).[2] She also competed at other international competitions, including at ISU Speed Skating World Cups.[2]
