Mark Allen (politician)
Mark Dean Allen (born January 2, 1949) is an American businessman and Republican politician from Oklahoma. He is the current state senator for District 4 in the Oklahoma Senate.

According to his campaign website, Allen is the owner of Allen Rathole, Inc. a family-owned business specializing in oil field service.[1]
Senate District 4 encompasses all of Le Flore County and the central and eastern sections of Sequoyah County including the city of Sallisaw.
Political career
Mark Allen began his first term as a state senator in 2010. He has been an advocate for open carry and voted in favor of the current open carry law in Oklahoma.[2]
Allen was among 14 Republicans who signed a pledge to vote against further bond issues for an Oklahoma City-based museum featuring Native American art.[3]
He currently serves as the vice chair of the Senate Transportation Committee and a member of three other committees.[4]
