Marxist–Leninist Organization of Afghanistan
Marxist–Leninist Organization of Afghanistan (Persian: سازمان مارکسیست-لنینیست افغانستان,MLOA) is a Maoist political group in Afghanistan about which very little is known. Its origins and founders are uncertain as was first mentioned when it took part in the International Conference of Marxist-Leninist Parties and Organizations (International Newsletter) (ICMLPO).[1]

Since references to the group are only found in the ICMLPO newsletter, some suspect that it may be an alias for an exiled or underground party that the Afghan authorities consider to be banned. As of 2020, this is the extent of knowledge about the group.[2][3]
The group has been publishing Eagle (عقاب), presumably its official journal, since August 2011.
