Master in the House

Master in the House (Korean: 집사부일체; abbreviated as Jipsabu) is a South Korean television program that airs on SBS weekly on Sundays at 18:25 (KST) from December 31, 2017. This marked the first fixed variety show for Lee Seung-gi since his discharge from the army, and for Lee Sang-yoon this was the first fixed variety show of his career.

Overview

The cast members spend two days and one night together with reputable figures of various fields or professions, known as Masters (사부), and get to know about the lives of the Masters, in the hopes of gaining knowledge and wisdom.[1] There are also 1-day Masters in the show, which the cast would instead spend a day together with.

Changes to the cast

On December 29, 2019, it was announced that Shin Sung-rok would join the show as part of the fixed cast, beginning from the episode aired January 12, 2020.[2] This marked Shin's first fixed variety show of his career.

On February 18, 2020, it was announced that Lee Sang-yoon and Yook Sung-jae will be leaving the show after the completion of recording held on the same day.[4] They have officially left after episode 111.

On April 21, 2020, it was confirmed that Kim Dong-hyun and Cha Eun-woo will join the show's fixed cast.[3] Their first episode as fixed cast members aired on May 3.
