Merrionette Park Fire Department

The Merrionette Park Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services to the village of Merrionette Park, Illinois. The department covers an area less than 1 square mile with a population of 2000 residents. The department was established on May 23, 1949 after an ordinance was adopted in the village's municipal code to create a fire department.[1] Prior to this formation fire protection was provided Blue Island and Chicago.
