MetroBus (St. Louis)

MetroBus is the public bus service for Greater St. Louis connected with the MetroLink light rail system. It is managed by the Bi-State Development Agency and uses a shared fare system with the MetroLink system.

Service

Its service currently has 75 bus routes and service four counties in Missouri and Illinois, including the City of St. Louis. MetroBus service operates daily and averages about 110,000 daily boardings, which is more than the MetroLink. The capacity of the system can accommodate 25,000 additional passengers during peak hours and the daily capacity of the system could most likely accommodate 115,000 additional boardings in all hours.

10Gravois LindellSouthern half of this route follows Gravois Ave from Gravois-Hampton Transit Center to Civic Center Station, while the northern half follows Lindell & Olive From Central West End MetroBus Center to Civic Center Transit Center.
11ChippewaTravels from Shrewsbury Station, east on Lansdowne Avenue, east on Chippewa, North on Jefferson Avenue, east on Chouteau to 14th Street. Eventual endpoint is at Civic Center Station. Westbound trips travel south on 14th, west on Chouteau Avenue, then south on Jefferson before reversing its route and returning to Shrewsbury Station.
13UnionTravels from Union at West Florissant in North St. Louis South to Central West End Station.
16City LimitsThis Route Follows Jennings Station Rd, Hamilton Ave, Skinker Blvd, Bellevue Ave And, Jamieson Ave between Riverview-Hall Transit Center & Shrewsbury Station with a stop at Delmar Station.

30ArsenalThis route begins in Downtown St. Louis at Civic Center Station and continues to Shrewsbury Station via Arsenal St.
31ChouteauThis route begins in Downtown St. Louis at Civic Center Station and travels along Chouteau/Manchester to the Maplewood-Manchester Station. This route is interlined with the #40 North Broadway at Civic Center Station.
32M.L. KingThis route begins in Downtown St. Louis at Civic Center Station and proceeds to Rock Rd Station along 14th St, Cass Ave, And Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Drive / St. Charles Rock Rd.

42SarahThis route operates along Sarah St in North St. Louis City between Central West End Station and Broadway-Taylor Transit Center.
46Tesson FerryPrior to the construction of the Blue MetroLink line, route 46 was part of route 47. Route 47 was split when the Blue Line was built. Blue Line replaced service on route 47 between Clayton MetroBus Center and Shrewsbury. Now it begins at Shrewsbury Station and follows Tesson Ferry Rd to St. Anthony's Hospital with select trips to Met Life insurance.
47Clayton-NCTCRoute was once called the Cross County until the Cross County MetroLink extension was built. Northern terminus is North Hanley Transit Center in Ferguson and the southern terminus is Clayton Transit Center In Clayton, MO. North County Transit Center service was replaced by 79X North County Express on September 30, 2019.
49LindberghNorthern terminus is the North Hanley Metrolink Station, South Terminus is South County Center. Created on September 30, 2019 when route 49 North Lindbergh extended over route 48 South Lindbergh
56Kirkwood-WebsterThis route runs between Shrewsbury Station and Meramec College through the Southwestern St. Louis county suburbs of Webster Groves and Kirkwood.

65Outer FortyBegins at the Ballas Transfer Center in Town And Country, and follows North and South Outer Forty drives making various stops around West County. Serves Maryville University in Town And Country.
70GrandThis route is Metro's busiest route, operating with 12-minute frequency between North Broadway Transit Center and Loughborough Commons due to the crowds that always form. Follows Grand Blvd. North endpoint is Broadway-Taylor Transit Center in North St. Louis. Articulated buses are used on this route.
71Patterson-RedmanFollows Redman Rd, MO Route 367 (Benham & Lusher), and Lindbergh Blvd in North St. Louis County from the North County Transit Center to Saint Ferdinand.
