Michael D. Hurley

Michael D. Hurley (born 1976) is a British literary critic and academic at the University of Cambridge,[1] a Reader in Literature and Theology,[2] and a Fellow of St Catharine's College, Cambridge.[3] He was educated at the universities of Cambridge and St Andrews, and at Stonyhurst College.[4] He has published books and articles on literary form and style, and on the interrelations of literature, philosophy and theology.[5][6] Concurrent with his academic position at Cambridge, he has been awarded visiting positions at Harvard and All Souls College, Oxford.[7] He is also a Trustee of The Christian Heritage Centre,[8] and frequently gives talks and public lectures on the philosophical and theological questions posed by art and literature.
