Michaela Goade
Michaela Goade is an illustrator. She won the 2021 Caldecott Medal for her illustrations in the book We Are Water Protectors written by Carole Lindstrom.[1][2] She is the first Native American to win the award.[2][3] She is of the Tlingit and Haida tribes.[4]
