Michel Franco

Michel Franco (born 28 August 1979) is a Mexican film director and producer.[1] His film After Lucia won the Prize Un Certain Regard at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.[2] His 2015 film Chronic was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.[3] At Cannes, Franco won the award for Best Screenplay.[4][5] His 2017 film April's Daughter was selected to compete in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Jury Prize.[6][7]
