Michelle Picard

Michelle "Shelly" Picard (born May 27, 1993) is a retired American ice hockey player for the Metropolitan Riveters who represented the United States at the 2011 4 Nations Cup. Picard, also known as Captain Wild Flower, also played for the Harvard Crimson. She is currently the Deputy Commissioner of the National Women's Hockey League.[1]

Playing career

NCAA

The first point of her NCAA career came on October 29, 2011. She logged an assist for the game-winning goal versus the Clarkson Golden Knights.

USA Hockey

Picard captained the U.S. National Women's Under-18 Team in 2011.[2] She has won a silver medal with the US Under-18 team at the 2010 IIHF U18 Women's Worlds, and gold in 2011.

NWHL

After leaving Harvard, Picard signed with the Metropolitan Riveters.[3] Picard participated in the 3rd NWHL All-Star Game.[4]
