Biography

Stadling comes from Sundsvall in the north of Sweden and is the eldest of three siblings.[1]

Before he played on the professional circuit he attended college in the United States at Texas's Trinity University. As a member of the Trinity Tigers tennis team he earned All-American honours in 1989.[2]

A left-handed player, Stadling competed on the ATP Tour in the 1990s, reaching a best singles ranking of 246 in the world. He qualified for the men's doubles main draw at the 1993 Wimbledon Championships, partnering Alex Rădulescu.[3] His best performance in singles was a win over the fifth seeded Fabrice Santoro at the 1995 Open 13 in Marseille.[4]
