Ming T. Tsuang

Ming Tso Tsuang (Chinese: 莊明哲; pinyin: Zhuāng Míngzhé; born 1931 in Tainan, Taiwan) is a professor of psychiatry affiliated with the University of California, San Diego and Harvard University.[1][2][3] He is considered a pioneering researcher in the genetic epidemiology of schizophrenia and other mental disorders.[2] He was the fourth president of the International Society for Psychiatric Genetics (2005-2010)[4] and the winner of its 1995 Lifetime Achievement Award, which is named after him.[5] Among other awards, he also received the 2010 Lieber Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Schizophrenia Research.[6] He is senior editor of the American Journal of Medical Genetics part B.[3]
