Mohamed Ramadan (footballer, born 1991)

Mohamed Ramadan (Arabic: محمد رمضان; born 4 April 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for Swedish club Rosengård FF.[1] Born in Sweden, Ramadan is of Lebanese descent and holds dual-citizenship. He represented Lebanon internationally once, in 2015.

Club career

As a youngster, Ramadan played for Kvarnby IK until he joined Helsingborgs IF in July 2010.[2][3] On 9 May 2011 he made his debut for Helsingborgs IF against Gefle IF coming off the bench in the 86th minute.[4][5] He made his second appearance for Helsingborg in a UEFA Europa League play-off game against Standard Liège in 2011.[6] In March 2012 Ramadan was loaned out to the Superettan side Trelleborgs FF until 31 July.[7] The loan-deal was later extended to the end of the 2012 season.[8]

International career

Ramadan got called up for the Lebanese national team against Saudi Arabia on 14 October 2014, but did not play. He later got called up and made his debut in a friendly against Iraq on 26 August 2015.[9]
