Muhammad Tariq Abbasi
Muhammad Tariq Abbasi is a Lahore based Jurist and judge of Lahore High Court,[1] was born on March 31, 1959 in Murree and graduated from University of the Punjab. He earned LL.B. in Shariah Law from International Islamic University, Islamabad and entered in legal profession in 1986. Tariq appointed as Additional District & Sessions Judge by Lahore High Court in 1998 after passing a competitive examination.[2]

Biography
Tariq born and grew up in Pakistan and received his elementary education at his native village, whereas secondary education from a High School at Khanaspur, Ayubia. He passed F.Sc examination from Govt. Degree College Satellite Town, Rawalpindi and LL.B.in Shariah Law from the International Islamic University, Islamabad to joined legal profession and judiciary.[3]
Appointment as Justice
As a Judge of District judiciary, Tariq completed about sixteen year and contributed and demonstrated a significant role in the judiciary and society. The President of Pakistan appointed him as Judge of Lahore High Court, Lahore on 29 October 2013 and he took the oath of his office as a Judge of Lahore High Court along with his fellow judges.[4]
