Nandan Jha

Nandan Jha is National Bravery Award and Jeevan Raksha Padak awards winner for his courage and promptitude in saving life under circumstances. He was the Chief operating officer in News World India[5][6] and Chief Operating Officer of travel company easemytrip[7][8][9][10] Nandan Jha was born at Adityapur, Jamshedpur in the year 1981. He was awarded for his bravery by the Prime Minister I. K. Gujral after saving the life of an old woman and her children when cottage got fire in Patna, Bihar. He was associated with Sahara India as a consultant corporate communications.[11][12]

He is the chairman of Interactive Forum on Indian Economy (80G, 12A compliant) which owns "Power Corridors" a monthly news magazine publishing in English and Hindi in India and PanchayatiTimes,[13] a Digital news channel focus on rural India and followed by Hon'ble Prime Ministe and several Union Ministers.[14][15][16][17]

Nandan Jha is the Chairman of Gandhi Mandela Foundation and founder of Gandhi Mandela Awards, a prestigious International award, for promoting Gandhian and Nelson Mandela’s values, Community Service and Social Development (in Asian & African countries).[18][19][20]

He is the founder and CEO of Panchayati Times, a national monthly Hindi news magazine.[21]

Jha is also the Organizer and founder of the Champions of Change (award), an Indian award, for promoting Aspirational Districts, Gandhian values, (Swachata), Community Service and Social Development. Where the President of India or Vice President of India join as Chief guest and the Awardees include CM, Ministers, MP, MLA & NGOs from across the country.[22]
