Louis Jurine’s collections of Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Lepidoptera and Hemiptera are held by the museum.

The museum also contains a collection of intricate glass models of invertebrates by Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka and a two headed tortoise named Janus
