Nervures Altea
The Nervures Altea (sometimes Altéa) is a French single-place paraglider that was designed by Xavier Demoury and produced by Nervures of Soulom. It is now out of production.[1]

Design and development
The Altea was designed as an intermediate glider. The models are each named for their relative size.[1]
A total of 390 were built during its production run of 2001-2005.[2]
Variants
- Altea S
- Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 10.2 m (33.5 ft) span wing has a wing area of 25 m2 (270 sq ft), 42 cells and the aspect ratio is 4.3:1. The pilot weight range is 60 to 75 kg (132 to 165 lb). The glider model is AFNOR Standard certified.[1]
- Altea M
- Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 11.3 m (37.1 ft) span wing has a wing area of 28 m2 (300 sq ft), 46 cells and the aspect ratio is 4.6:1. The pilot weight range is 75 to 95 kg (165 to 209 lb). The glider model is AFNOR Standard certified.[1]
- Altea L
- Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its 12.0 m (39.4 ft) span wing has a wing area of 31 m2 (330 sq ft), 46 cells and the aspect ratio is 4.6:1. The pilot weight range is 95 to 120 kg (209 to 265 lb). The glider model is AFNOR Standard certified.[1]
