Nicole Slot

Nicole Slot (born April 1969) is a Canadian former long track speed skater, who was active between 1992 and 2011.[1] Slot represented her nation twice at the World Allround Speed Skating Championships and at three World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships in six events.

At the 1999 World Allround Speed Skating Championships she finished 23rd overall and 20th at the 2001 championships. At the 1999 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships she competed in the 1500 metres event (23rd), 3000 metres event (20th) and 5000 metres event (12th). A year later at the 2000 Championships in the 5000 metres event (13th) and at the 2001 Championships in the 1500 metres event (12th) and 5000 metres event (20th). She also competed at other international competitions, including at ISU Speed Skating World Cups.[2]

Between 1992 and 2002 she had a total of 15 starts at the Canadian Allround Championships and Canadian Single Distance Championships. She became national champion in the 3000 metres event in 1998. Furthermore she won three bronze medals at the national championships.[2]
