Nikos Chougkaz
Nikos Chougkaz (alternate spelling: Hougaz) (Greek: Νίκος Χουγκάζ; born October 4, 2000 in Athens, Greece) is a Greek professional basketball player for Ionikos Nikaias of the Greek Basket League. He is 6 ft 10 in (2.08 m)[1] tall and plays as a Small forward.

Youth career
Chougkaz played youth basketball with the youth squads of Peristeri.
College career
Chougkaz played college basketball at Northwestern State. He stayed for only one year with the Demons before returning to Greece.[2]
Professional career
Chougaz started his professional career with Panionios of the Greek League in 2018. In his first year as a pro, he averaged 3.4 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.
After returnig to Greece from Northwestern State, he joined Ionikos Nikaias of the Greek Basket League.[3] On November 22, 2020, he recorded a career high in points and rebounds, after scoring 18 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in his team΄s win over Lavrio.
Personal life
Chougaz΄s father Chris, is a former professional basketball player and basketball coach for Union Tarbes-Lourdes in France.[4] His brother Robert, plays for Northwestern State. Chougaz family are Greek with hails from Alexandria Egypt.
