Nimisha Sajayan
Nimisha Sajayan is an Indian actress in the Malayalam film industry. She won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress in 2018 for her roles in the films Oru Kuprasidha Payyan and Chola. Nimisha made her acting debut with the film Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum directed by Dileesh Pothan.[1][2][3]

Early and personal life
Nimisha was born in Bombay to Sajayan, an engineer and Bindhu both originally from Kollam district of Kerala. Her mother's ancestral home is in Punalur, Kollam district.[4]
Nimisha holds a black belt in Taekwondo. She represented Maharashtra in Taekwondo national competitions. She got the black belt when she was in 8th standard.[5]
Acting career
Nimisha debuted her acting career with the film Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, directed by Dileesh Pothan. She portrayed the character Sreeja, the female lead.[6] She then played the lead role in editor B. Ajithkumar's directorial debut Eeda produced by filmmaker Rajeev Ravi.[7] She won the 49th Kerala State Film Awards 2019 for the movies Oru Kuprasidha Payyan directed by Madhupal and Chola directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan.[8]
