Nisaba Adi "Nisa" Godrej is the chairperson of Godrej Consumer Products Limited[1]Consumer Products.[2]

She also oversees the corporate strategy and human capital functions for Godrej Industries and its associate companies.[3] Nisa drives the Godrej Group's 'Good & Green' (CSR) initiatives and is the point person for the operations of the Godrej Family Council.[4]
She is currently on the boards of GCPL, Godrej Agrovet and Teach for India.[5][6]
Education
Nisa completed her Bachelor of Science (BSc) from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School.[7][8] She completed her schooling from The Cathedral & John Connon School.
Career
Nisa's previous assignments within the Godrej Group include the turnaround of Godrej Agrovet. She has overseen various projects in, innovation, strategy and HR for Godrej Industries and its associate companies.[3] Nisa Godrej was appointed to the board of Godrej Agrovet in the year 2008. Her first step involved the appointment of her classmate at Harvard, Mark Kahn, as the Executive Vice President at Godrej Agrovet, paving the way to hiring foreign nationals for leadership positions at Godrej.[9] Her organisational changes eventually made Godrej Agrovet a profitable entity as compared to its past performance. Over the years Nisa has transformed in her leadership to being inclusive and engaging with the employees in her firm. She resumed from her maternity leave within a month after her son Zoran was born and used to take him to work by trying to strike a balance between her focus on work and personal life. She believed in being dedicated and committed to her work something that her father, Adi Godrej has been really proud of.
Nisaba Godrej was announced as executive chairperson of Godrej Consumer Products Limited(GCPL) on May 10, 2017. During this time, she became the youngest chairperson of a company whose consolidated revenue was Rs 9,600 crore.[10] She entered late in the family business, but she has played crucial role in GCPL's strategy and transformation.
Personal life
Nisa is the youngest daughter of Adi Godrej and Parmeshwar Godrej. Her siblings are Tanya Dubash and Pirojsha Adi Godrej. Nisa lives in Mumbai with her husband, Kalpesh Mehta, and son, Zoran. Her father, Adi Godrej, is the Chairman of the Godrej Group.[11]
