The first two episodes of the series played at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.[7] In a 2017 Forbes article, Kirkpatrick mentions virtual reality's ability to cause "spatial un-comfortability," and her aim to make the viewer the lead character of the story.[8]
Kirkpatrick studies and performs at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater in Los Angeles.[8]
In 2017, Kirkpatrick appeared in Adam Sandler's film Sandy Wexler and in Paul Lieberstein's debut feature Song of Back and Neck.
