Enrollment increased to 5,200 in 2009 and 6,511 in 2010 as new buildings provided available space. Projected full enrollment is 16,000.[3]
Accreditation
After nearly nine years of existence, Northeast Lakeview College was granted candidacy status for accreditation, effective June 16, 2016, by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.[4] The college was granted full accreditation the following year.[5]
Nearly all Texas universities accept transfer credits from NLC provided they are in the Core. The school has a well recognized Drama department.[6] Northeast Lakeview also functions as an outreach site of San Antonio College so students can attend classes at Northeast Lakeview but enroll at SAC.
