Numerica Credit Union

Numerica Credit Union (formerly Spokane Railway Credit Union[1]) is a credit union serving Eastern Washington state and the Northern Idaho Panhandle.[2] It is regulated under the authority of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Numerica is ranked fourth in Washington State in asset size with over $2.1 billion, and is ranked 6th in membership with 139,917 members.[3] Its headquarters are located in Spokane Valley, Washington.

History

According to Numerica's website, the credit union was founded in 1937 under the name Spokane Railway Credit Union.[2] Initially, Numerica only served Spokane railway employees, but it expanded to serve other sectors of the transportation industry, and eventually opened its doors to all residents of Washington State and the Northern Idaho Panhandle.[4][2]
