Odoorn
Odoorn (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈoːdoːrn]) is a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Borger-Odoorn, and lies about nine km north of Emmen.

Odoorn was a separate municipality until 1998, when it merged with Borger.[1]
In 2001, the village of Odoorn had 1618 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.62 km², and contained 667 residences.[2] The statistical area "Odoorn", which can also include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1860.[3]
