Ofir Davidzada

Ofir Davidzada (or Davidadze,[2] Hebrew: אופיר דוידזאדה; born (1991-05-05)5 May 1991)[1] is an Israeli footballer, who plays as a left back for Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Early life

Davidzada was born in Beersheba, Israel, to a Sephardic Jewish family.[3][4]

Career

He made his debut for Hapoel Be'er Sheva against Maccabi Haifa in February 2010.[1] He established himself in the team during the 2010–11 season and was called up to represent Israel at under-21 level. He took part in the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.[5]

On 5 August 2016, it was announced that Davidzada has signed a four-season contract with K.A.A. Gent and would join the team after Hapoel Be'er Sheva's Champions League qualifying play-off matches against Scottish Champions Celtic.

On 7 September 2018, Davidzada signed a four-year deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv.[6]
