Oru Viral Krishna Rao

Oru Viral Krishna Rao was an Indian film actor and comedian who appeared in Tamil-language films. A recipient of the state government's `Kalai Maamani' award, Rao got the nickname Oru Viral (one finger) for his first Tamil film in 1965.[2] He acted in nearly 600 Tamil and Telugu films in a career spanning four decades.[1]

Death

He died in a private hospital on Friday (16 August 2002) Noon. He is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter. His Wife is Mrs. Hamsa Bai,Sons are K.Shivaji Rao,K.Rajendar Rao,K.Dhivakar Rao. His daughter is E.Gaja Lakshmi. At present, K.Rajendar Rao & E.Gaja Lakshmi are living with their family in Sivaganga and Chennai. He was admitted in the hospital for a month following a blood clot in his brain.[1]
