It is located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) south of Mladá Boleslav and 46 kilometres (29 mi) northeast of Prague.

History

The first written mention of Písková Lhota is from 1398 and of Zámostí from 1361. Starý Stránov Castle was first mentioned in 1297.[2]
