Pacific Improvement Company
The Pacific Improvement Company was an affiliate of the Southern Pacific Railroad in the 19th century, dedicated by the owners of the railroad to serve its construction and property-holding interests in California.
The company was incorporated in California on November 4, 1878, and dissolved in November 1899,[1] although its assets were liquidated over many decades thereafter.
