Paddy Patterson

Patrick "Paddy" Patterson (born 30 November 1998) is an Irish rugby union player, currently playing for Munster, where he is on a short-term contract from the Leinster academy.[1] He plays as a scrum-half and can also cover all positions in the back-three.

Early life

He attended Blackrock College, leaving in 2017.

Leinster

Patterson entered the Leinster academy ahead of the 2018–19 season. He made his senior debut in the 2018–19 season, featuring against the Dragons one day after his 20th birthday.[2]

Munster

Patterson joined Leinster's provincial rivals Munster on a short-term contract in January 2021, where he will provide cover for Craig Casey and Conor Murray, who are away with the Ireland squad for the 2021 Six Nations, and the injured Neil Cronin.[1]

Ireland

Patterson represented the Ireland under-20s at the 2018 Six Nations Under 20s Championship and at the 2018 World Rugby Under 20 Championship.
