Paige Schwartzburg

Paige Schwartzburg (born 20 July 1990 in Ocala, Florida) is an American long track speed skater, who is active since 2010.[1]

Schwartzburg started as an inline speed skater. Her inline team mates also did speed skating and competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics. After seeing that Schwartzburg switched to speed skating.

Schwartzburg represented her nation at the 2016 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships in the mass start event (finishing 17th) and at the 2020 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships in the mass start event (finishing 17th) and team pursuit event.[2] She won the gold medal at the 2020 Four Continents Speed Skating Championships in the team pursuit event. She also competed at other international competitions, including at ISU Speed Skating World Cups.[2]

She became national champion at the 2016 American Single Distance Championships in the 1500 metres. Furthermore she won (as of the 2019-20 speed skating season) four silver and five bronze medals at national championships.[2]
