Pakhanpura is a village in Bhawarkol block, Tehsil- Mohammadabad District, Ghazipur state, Uttar Pradesh, India. also known as Fakhanpura, the village is 29 km from Ghazipur and 25 km from Buxar. The village has one post office, a union bank of India, with atm facility. The population of the village is approximately 15000-20000 the village is dominated by Muslims ( Mainly Shaiks), and having other religious persons with 10 Mauza, having 5 Mosque, One Eidgah, 5 Mazar-e-sharif, Three temples. The aforesaid village is created with the blessings of Baba Shaik Farid.

Most of the peoples are in disciplinary forces, and the village having one added Madarsa and 4 convent schools along with other things are also available.

His father Dr. Mohd. Alamgir became the first government medical officer from the village and his uncle Er. Mohd. Jahangir was the first government engineer from the village. His elder cousin sister Dr. Farzana Masood became the first scientist from the village.
