Pangrio

Pangrio (Sindhi: پنگریو) is a town located in the district of Badin in Sindh, Pakistan.[1]

It is located near Village Haji Ghulam Hussain Lail and Haji Abdul Khaliq Arain. The largest villages in district Badin by area and population are Bakhsho Lund, Piyaro Lund, Haji Ghulam Muhammad Junejo and Haji Abdul Khaliq Arain which are located near by Pangrio. There is no any downfall drainage system therefore after rain streets and surrounding of town looks like ponds of contaminated water with thousands of mosquitoes & flies which has been caused of malaria, skin and gastrointestinal problems in rainy season. Humidity remains higher in summer because of Arabian sea temperature in hot Summer only rise when wind blowing stopped weather mostly remains cloudy and cool and wind blows more than 25 km/h about 8 to 9 months of s calendar year but in winter there is very short cool days.

The shrine of Syed Saman Shah Sarkar, a Sufi saint, is some 6 km off the Pangrio town.[2] Also near by pangrio there are Shrines of MAI BHAMBI and BODLO Faqeer, and annual fair is celebrated with affection.
