Parrish Muhoberac's parents, pianist and orchestrator Larry Muhoberac, who played for Elvis Presley and many others, and singer Andra Willis who, from 1967 to 1969, was a member of bandleader Lawrence Welk's long-running television "musical family", moved to Australia in late 1980s, and young Parrish, along with his brother, Jamie, grew up on the island continent. As he reached his late teens, Muhoberac was offered a deal with Warner Music along with his band "Feed". Some of the members from that band went on to form "The Solution", which quickly formed a massive fan base. He then went on to co-form the band Mizair, with Muhoberac on drums, with Australian songwriter/producer Garry Frost who, in late 1970s, was guitarist/keyboardist for the band Moving Pictures. By December 2007, Muhoberac joined the Australian band Matt Finish as a guitarist and vocalist, with the group completing a new album at John Prior's Unity Gain Studios in the Sydney suburb of Erskineville, shortly thereafter, on Christmas Eve.[1]
Muhoberac has professionally sang and played numerous instruments since the age of 4, at which time he sang the iconic song "Itty Bitty Flea" on the Candle Records album "Animals and other things", which his father, Larry Muhoberac, co-produced and arranged in 1981.
He is well known for his expertise on the Ashbory Bass, and "Keyboard Drumming" (playing notes on a keyboard that trigger drum samples through a midi device), both of which he has played live and on numerous recordings over the last 20 years.
As of 2011, Parrish Muhoberac and Jamie Muhoberac are living in separate countries, with Jamie working as a prominent session musician and producer in California and Parrish residing, producing, recording, and arranging in his studio "Small Dog Productions" in Sydney, the principal city of New South Wales, Australia.
