Pedro Fábregas

Pedro Fábregas is an officer at American Airlines Group, the parent company of American Airlines, US Airways and Envoy Air. Pedro Fábregas was named President of Envoy Air in December 2013. At Envoy Air (previously American Eagle Airlines), Fábregas oversees one of the world's largest regional airlines, with more than 18,000 employees and operating more than 185 regional aircraft on approximately 1,000 daily flights to nearly 150 cities throughout the United States, Canada, the Bahamas, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Fábregas has more than 35 years of airline industry experience and joined American Airlines in 1983. Fábregas' previous experience also includes serving as Envoy Air's senior vice president of customer service, vice president of finance & planning, chief financial officer and president & CEO of Executive Airlines, a former AMR Corp. wholly owned subsidiary.

Fábregas holds a bachelor's degree in administration and finance from the University of the Sacred Heart, Puerto Rico, and a master's degree from the University of Miami Business School, in Coral Gables, Florida. He was a member of the University of Miami's board of overseers for eight years. Today, he is a member of the board of overseers at the University of Dallas School of Business, and the American Airlines Federal Credit Union board of directors.

Fábregas was born in Puerto Rico and began working at American Airlines at a very young age after interviewing with them on a regular basis.[1]
