Peesh ili luzhesh (season 1)

The inaugural first season of the mystery music game show Peesh ili luzhesh premiered on 3 November 2016 (2016-11-03) on Nova. It is a Bulgarian adaptation of I Can See Your Voice.[1]

Gameplay

Format

Under the original format, the guest artist(s) can eliminate one or two mystery singers in each round, and the last mystery singer(s) standing will do perform a duet.

Rewards

The winning mystery singer will perform again at the "showcase" if it is a good singer, or gets a cash prize worth 3,000 leva if it is a bad singer.[2]

Rounds

There are eight individuals of mystery singers standing on a platform to keep their identities concealed until stage of truth performance.

Round 1: Singer's visual

The guest artist is given some time to observe and examine each mystery singer based on their appearance. After this, a muted video of each mystery singer that reveals only 0.3 seconds of their singing voice is played as an additional hint.

Round 2: Singer's talent

The guest artist(s) must predict each mystery singer based on other talents, except "singing" itself. It is unrelated to the stage of truth, but it depends on identity.

Round 3: Singer's lip-sync

Each mystery singer performs a lip-sync of a song. Good singers lip-sync to their own voice, while bad singers lip-sync to other's voices.

Round 4: Singer's verdict

The guest artist(s) must have then 100 seconds to interrogate the remaining mystery singers before making the final decision.

New Year's Eve Concert (31 December 2016)

The post-season episode took place on the last day of 2016, featuring all winning mystery singers alongside guest artists perform one last time. In the penultimate performance, Rosen Belov highlighted an example of a bad singers turned "good", thus it is the only ICSYV franchise to do so.[15]
