Pete Livermore

Peter L. Livermore[1] (March 22, 1941 – October 20, 2014) was an American politician and a Republican member of the Nevada Assembly from 2010 until 2014 representing District 40.[2]

Elections

  • 2012 Livermore won the June 12, 2012 Republican Primary with 3,718 votes (72.17%),[3] and won the November 6, 2012 General election with 15,914 votes (57.77%) against Democratic nominee Rich Dunn.[4]
  • 2010 When Democratic Assemblywoman Bonnie Parnell retired and left the District 40 seat open, Livermore won the three-way June 8, 2010 Republican Primary with 2,788 votes (50.07%),[5] and won the November 2, 2010 General election with 8,616 votes (51.49%) against Democratic nominee Robin Williamson.[6]

Death

On October 20, 2014, Livermore died of a heart attack at the age of 73.[7][8]
