Phukan
Phukan or Phookan or Phukon (Assamese: āĻĢā§āĻāĻ¨, Tai Ahom :đđĨ đđ¨đđĢ) is a Paik officer of Ahom Army under the Ahom Kingdom.[1] Now the descendant's clans use it as a surname This is usually used among the people of Ahom, Chutia, Brahmin community of Assam.
