Pierre-Yves Bournazel
Pierre-Yves Bournazel (born 31 August 1977) is a French politician of Agir who has represented Paris's 18th constituency in the National Assembly since 2017.

Political career
Career in local politics
When Françoise de Panafieu was selected as the UMP's candidate for the 2008 Paris municipal election, Bournazel became her political advisor and later one of her two spokespersons – along with Jean-François Lamour – during the election campaign.[1] Ahead of the 2014 elections, he lost the party's primaries against Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet.[2]
Career in national politics
Bournazel supported Alain Juppé for the 2016 Presidential primary for the Republicans.[3] Amid the Fillon affair, he announced that he would no longer support the Republicans' campaign.[4]
In the 2017 French legislative election, Bournazel was elected to the National Assembly for Paris's 18th constituency, winning against Myriam El Khomri. In parliament, he has since been serving on the Committee on Cultural Affairs and Education.[5]
In November 2017, Bournazel joined the new Agir party.[6]
Bournazel announced that he would run in the 2020 Paris municipal election as an independent candidate.[7] He renounced his candidacy on 16 January 2020;[8] instead he became the campaign spokesperson of LREM candidate Agnès Buzyn.[9]
