Piszczac
Piszczac [ˈpʲiʂt͡ʂat͡s] is a village in Biała Podlaska County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1] In 1530–1869, it was a town mentioned in old chronicles and in the census of 1566, as Pieszczatka.[2] Today it is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Piszczac. It lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of Biała Podlaska and 98 km (61 mi) north-east of the regional capital Lublin.
