Pleomorphomonas

Pleomorphomonas is a genus of bacteria from the family of Methylocystaceae.[3] Despite the fact that Pleomorphomonas is listed as a member of the Methylocystaceae in UniProt, the authors of the article where the genera is first described suggest it should be thought of as a sister taxa to the Methylocystaceae, Beijerinckiaceae, and Methylobacteriaceae in addition to other families in the Rhizobiales.[1]
