History

Pogo channel was officially launched on 1 January 2004 by Turner International India.[2] Broadcasting animation and live-action shows, Pogo is Turner's only-for-India kids entertainment network. It is operated by WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks Asia Pacific. It is also the sister channel of Cartoon Network (India). When it launched, the channel mostly aired shows like Tweenies, Beakman's World and Looney Tunes.

Pogo broadcast mostly anime, American and other foreign shows as well as some Indian series. Then from 2019-20, the channel has shifted its focus to Indian animation.[3]

Pogo TV became the third most watched kids channel across all genres with TRP in December 2020.[4]

In Thailand, Pogo was available as a two-hour block on Family Channel 13.[5] In Pakistan, Pogo is available as a block on Cartoon Network.
