Reviews
- Times of India wrote:"There is no excuse for director Mahesh Babu to direct such a film full of violence, sending a wrong signal to young minds. Be it the script, narration, sequences or even the Aindrita Ray dance sequence, there is no nativity in any of these segments".[2]
- Rediff wrote:"Prem Adda will entertain the masses who look for a rustic feel in films".[3]
- Chitraloka wrote:"the film runs in a faster pace and relates well to the present environment, though it is based on the events of the eighties. The costumes, look of the film remains focused to the 1985 period, while the technical support and narration has used state of the art techniques".[4]
