Prunus buxifolia

Prunus buxifolia is a species of tree in the rose family, Rosaceae.[2][3] It is endemic to Colombia,[2][4] where it is called chuwacá.

Distribution and habitat

P. buxifolia is native to the montane forests of the eastern Colombian Andes, between 2500–3650 m of elevation.[2][3]
